Elf University is a slice-of-life fantasy web comic, partially based on my own college experiences. My college campus was a very beautiful one, with gothic architecture and magical gardens, and wandering through it to get to my classes always made me feel like some sort of sorcery student in a fantasy world (rather than a burned-out engineering student). I’ve always loved fantasy literature and world building, and have read the Lord of the Rings trilogy several times, so some of my inspiration is definitely drawn from there as well.

I’d like to have this web comic go on to be an animated series aimed towards teens and adults. College was both a beautiful and difficult experience for me, and it was there I really started figuring out who I am as a person and artist. I’m sure the thought of college brings complicated and bittersweet feelings to others, too, and I want this comic to take the time to explore these emotions.
